Community Works CDC is a community development corporation serving to liberate youth, adults and families from spiritual, social and economic bondage through Christ-centered programs that promote personal and community transformation.
Community Works was launched November of 2003 in Houston, Texas to serve the Northeast Houston community. Their focus is the empowerment of a people in a blighted community of Northeast Houston. Their community empowerment efforts consist of targeted, Christ-centered programs and partnerships including:
- Prison Re-entry & Employment Assistance for Ex-offenders
- Family Support Services
- At-Risk Youth After School & Mentoring Program
- Feeding Service Program
- Addiction Recovery Support
